The rumors about the meeting of the Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nicolai Patrushev and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in Oman are not true as RIA News reported citing Spokesperson of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.
“It is lie,” the official said.
Previously, reporters of Schemes project released research, in which they claimed that Patrushev and Zelensky met in Oman. Chief of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak condemned the story, calling it a lie.
Later, Spokesperson of Volodymyr Zelensky, Yulia Mendel stated that Petrushov and Zelensky have never met.
On January 5, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stayed in Oman, where he went with his family on a regular flight at his own expense.
The same day, Zelensky held a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah.
