Russian hackers using cyber attacks could crack the servers with secret documents of the Bundestag committees, which were released by Wikileaks. On the probability of such a version to the newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung reported a source in the German secret services, says DW.

Secret documents of the Bundestag committee which investigates large-scale monitoring of the National Security Agency (NSA) of the United States, appeared on Wikileaks because of the attack on the Russian hackers on Bundestag IT-system in the spring 2015.

Documents were published on the Wikileaks website on December 1st. They are dated the period from spring 2014 to January 2015. They were stored on the server of the Bundestag Administration. Only deputies, members of the Committee on the NSA had ccess to them.

German intelligence agencies have paid attention, that Wikileaks has not published documents that appeared after a hacker attack in the spring of 2015. In addition, the published material was the lowest level of security.

More important documents with limited access are not stored on servers, members of the committee had the opportunity to read them only in a special secret room in the Bundestag building. According to German experts, all of this suggests that the published Wikileaks documents with high probability are the materials that were abducted during a hacking attack on the Bundestag last spring, the responsibility for which lays on Russia.
