Russian government adopted an agreement with the self-proclaimed “republic” South Ossetia on entering of its military troops to the Armed Forces of Russian Federation. Such regulation from March 7 was published on the official internet-portal of Russian legal information.
“To approve draft agreement between Russian Federation and South Ossetia republic on the order of South Ossetia republic’s military units enter to the Armed Forces of Russian Federation, proposed by Defense Ministry of Russian Federation, agreed upon by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russian Federation and other federal bodies of executive power,” the document says.
The document will be sent for approving signature of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Earlier it was reported that Ukraine condemned agreement "On the alliance and integration" between Russia and South Ossetia. Ukraine calls Russian actions as aggression and expresses its strong support for Georgia.
