Russian Foreign Ministry commented the decision of Robert Mueller, the U.S. Special Counsel, to press charges against 12 Russian military intelligence officers. The statement was made public on the Ministry’s website.

“The build-up of the conspiratorial schemes which are used to defeat an American inhabitant does not connect it with this department and the involvement in cyber attacks. The statement on the illegal breaking in the computer system of the U.S. Democratic party itself is unsubstantiated,” the message says.
