Ukraine’s State Border Guard prevented a Russian citizen from crossing the state border. The man arrived in Kyiv from Minsk and was detained at Kyiv airport, the press department of the Border Guard reported.

‘The Russian citizen, born in 1985, arrived as a passenger of Minsk-Kyiv flight.  As he was undergoing border control procedure, he failed to explain the reason of his visit to Ukraine. It turned he had no money with him. As the border guards decided to not let him in, the citizen began to threaten physically eliminate Ukrainians – those living in Russia. He used foul language against the border guards,’ the authority reported.

The State Border Guard added that the man was banned to enter Ukraine for three years and sent out of the country back to Russia with the next flight to Moscow.
