Fighter jets of Denmark’s Air Force (Air Force), acting in the framework of the NATO air mission, escorted Russian strategic bomber Tu-95 over the Baltic Sea near the island of Bornholm. The video of the flight was published by the press service of the Danish Air Force in Facebook.

It is reported that the F-16 fighter jets followed near the Russian plane while it was in the international airspace near Denmark, and then returned to the base.

It is worth noting that the island of Bornholm, although it belongs to Denmark, is territorially closer to Sweden.

As it was reported earlier an unarmed Russian Air Force aircraft flew overthe US Capitol, the Pentagon, Central Intelligence Agency and Joint Base Andrews at low altitude Wednesday as part of a longstanding treaty that allows the militaries of the United States and Russia to observe the other from the air, according to two people familiar with the flight.
