Putin says Russia will continue to promote issue of arrangements for special status of Donbas

Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed that Russia agrees to extend the OSCE mission in the area of disarmament and withdrawal of heavy weapons in the Donbas region. Putin said this after the talks in the Normandy format in Berlin, TASS reports.

According to the President of the Russian Federation, during the meeting he reaffirmed the commitment to the Minsk agreements and agreed to continue dealing with the withdrawal of troops.

Putin said that Russia will continue to work on the final agreement on the special status of Donbas.

The President of the Russian Federation said it was not possible to achieve a lot of issues regarding Humanitarian Affairs.

The parties agreed that the heads of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Normandy format states will approve framework of the roadmap for the implementation of the Minsk agreements by the end of November.
