Russian occupant forces continue to hasten forceful issuance of passports for residents of the occupied Donbas. Press office of the Chief Intelligence Department of Ukraine's Defense Ministry reported that on November 13.
Russian passport, i.e. citizenship is the obligatory condition for citizens to serve in the units of the 1st and 2nd Army Corps of the occupant troops. Russian military command pays special attention to the process of issuance of passports to the recruited servicemen.
Besides, the Ukrainian intelligence reported that Russian side recruits men with Russian citizenship who reside in Donbas for service in the ranks of peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh.
The occupants also consider cutting civilian rights for people holding the passport of Ukraine. The changes may include status of "foreign citizen", disapproval of electoral right and the opportunity to make civilian and legal deals, which require notary certification.
