The Secretary reacted on the question on the measures that can be assumed by Russia as the response to the actions of the UK and the reaction of London to it.
‘What will we do? We will see how Russia responds to our actions. It is absolutely atrocious and outrages what Russia did in Salisbury. We have responded to that. Frankly, Russia should go away and shut up’, Williamson said.
Totally, he noted that it is early to talk on the further development of the situation and to speculate in this issue.
Also, he commented the assumptions that the UK and Russia begins new Cold war.
‘It is often characterized as the cool war. Now I would say it is entirely cold’.
Britain made a decision to expel 23 Russian diplomats. Russian diplomats have a week to leave Great Britain. Later Moscow claimed that the British diplomats will be expelled from Russia.
