The Russian Federation has expressed readiness to restore relations with Ukraine. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"We constantly emphasize our readiness to restore normal relations with Ukraine, because the Ukrainian people are very close and fraternal to us. The President has repeatedly spoken about this and written a special article," he said.

In addition, he assured that Russia is ready "even tomorrow" to restore relations with the West, but Moscow does not yet see confidence in Western partners.

Meanwhile, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky surmises there is a chance of a full-scale war with Russia.

"If there's a powerful escalation from the Russian side - that's the most horrific thing there is. Unfortunately, there is such a chance," Zelensky said.

However, if it comes to this, it will be a tragic mistake for Moscow, Ukrainian leader added. According to him, in this case, "Ukraine will show no more friendly attitude to Russia and Belarus".
