"The new US nuclear doctrine demonstrates who is the "real aggressor of the world scale." This was stated on February 2 in the commentary to RIA Novosti by the head of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security Viktor Bondarev.
According to him, the document "removes any responsibility from the leadership of the United States for any actions, because it gives too great opportunities for a free interpretation of events in the international arena and the situation in the internal affairs of sovereign countries."
Bondarev stressed that in the doctrine, Americans "have nowhere provided clear explanations, their own criteria for" threat "or" extraordinary circumstances. "
At the same time, the head of the defense committee of the Russian Federation doubts that "the political leadership of this now disunited country is so unreasonable that it will proceed from loud statements to action."
Bondarev considers not accidental the accent of the doctrine that neither the Russian Federation nor China would not be treaten by the US as an enemy. He considered this a confirmation of the fact that "Americans will not start an open conflict with the two leading world powers."
On February 2, the US Department of Defense published an overview of the country's nuclear policy. It says that Russia and China are replenishing their arsenals with new types of nuclear weapons and "behaving more aggressively." Proceeding from this, the US government allocated additional funds for the renewal of the country's nuclear potential.
