Russia offers UN to send the armed mission to Donbas, which would stay there for six months. This is mentioned in the resolution prepared by the Russian government for further consideration by UN Security Council.

According to the document, the UN peacekeeping mission should be deployed in the war-torn Donbas, but only after forces and troops are withdrawn from the division line.

The Kremlin insists that the UN peacekeepers would carry small arms to be able to maintain security of OSCE observers in Donbas. The head of the peacekeeping mission will be reporting personally to UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
