Russia is not going to participate in the Normandy format, since it considers the format to be a “staged event” as Spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova reported on Telegram.

"Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that Russia is" hindering” the preparation of meetings in the Normandy format. It does not slow down it, and is not going to participate in an empty staging event. Fill it with meaning, namely, do what was agreed upon earlier during the Normandy format summits, and then there will be a reason to discuss a new meeting,” Zakharova wrote.
