The Russian government is obliged to report to the ECHR about the current health conditions of four Ukrainian political prisoners. The list includes Stanislav Klykh, Volodymyr Balukh, Emir-Usein Kuku and Serhiy Lytvynov. Ukraine's Justice Minister Pavlo Petrenko posted this on Facebook.
'The ECHR reacted to the request from the Ukrainian government very quickly... the ECHR's decision is the following: Russia must provide information on the health conditions of these political prisoners, about the medical service they received, and whether they are provided with that services now', the minister wrote.
Petrenko also added that according to the ECHR decision, Russia should provide information on political prisoners, whom Ukrainian consuls and other representatives could not have visited recently, as the Russian authorities have not allowed them to do so.
