The week of big diplomacy for Russia is lost. Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said so in his commentary after the OSCE Permanent Council session on Thursday. Yevropeiska Pravda reported that on January 13.

"Given the unhappy year of great diplomacy for Russia, I believe that the only way for the Russians to confirm that they have no intention of solving the problems by force is to continue the discussion in the established formats, particularly in the OSCE", the Minister said.

He added that Ukraine will continue working with its partners to implement the complex package of deterrence of the Russian aggression.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the new bill on US sanctions against Russia is just a nervous breakdown, Interfax reports.

"I think it's a nervous breakdown. It is in the endless assertion of their own greatness that people have reached a psychological point that is difficult to explain. Not the first year in Congress I am amazed to read all these initiatives, created by adults, serious politicians. And such steps do no honor," Lavrov said.
