Moscow rejects the statements about the possible involvement of the Russian Federation in Belarus. Dmitriy Peskov, press secretary of the Russian president, RIA Novosti news agency wrote.

"We disagree with it (the statement about Russia's involvement in the landing of Ryanair plane, - 112 International). But we understand this is the case when there's no use in trying to explain anything", Peskov said.

Peskov also claimed that the Kremlin "patiently" watches the situation in Minsk.

Earlier, the British Foreign Ministry stated it was hard to believe that Russia was not involved in the situation with the forced landing of the passenger aircraft in Minsk, but London did not have certain proof of Russia's participation yet.

Besides, Mykhailo Podolyak, Counselor of Head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine also surmised that Russia could be involved. He actually compared it with the Wagner PMC operation that could have taken place in Ukraine.
