Russian and Chinese armed forces have been working on new offensive weaponry, which is capable of jamming and even downing U.S. satellites. General John E. Hyten, the head of the U.S. Strategic Command reported this during the session of Reagan National Defense Forum.

‘They have been testing a weapon controlled from the Earth in the space,’ he said, adding that it could be about the use of jamming devices and laser guns alike.

Satellites remain among the most precious space assets since they are used to prevent nuclear strikes.
