Russia blames Ukraine of 'disrupting disengagement of troops' in Donbas

Ukraine allegedly broke the procedure of disengagement of forces in Donbas combat area near Zolote on October 9. Yuriy Ushakov, the assistant of Russian president Vladimir Putin said that as quoted by TASS news agency.

"Yesterday, the Ukrainian side chose not to get to the practical stage of disengagement due to a trumped-up breach of the ceasefire", Ushakov claimed.

The official expressed hope that the process of disengagement in these areas would move ahead, and it would become possible that the time frame of the Normandy format is discussed.

Ushakov insisted that the date of the next Normandy Four session would be discussed after the disengagement procedure is over.
