The Islamic State released a video calling for the jihad, the sacred war, against Russia, Reuters reported on late July 31. The nine-minutes-long video contains threats to the Russian leader Putin.
There is no information about the person who uploaded the video, but the respective link may be found at Telegram account, used by ISIS militants.
The Islamist movement has not yet declared its involvement in any incidents in Russia. However, after recent terrorist attacks in France and Germany, ISIS took responsibility for them.
