Congressmen from the Republican Party in the House of Representatives intend to summon Hunter Biden, the son of ex-Vice President Joe Biden, and a number of other witnesses inolved in the U.S. policy towards Ukraine. Fox News reported that, referring to House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Devin Nunes.

In his letter to Adam Schiff, the House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member, Nunes claimed the following: "To provide transparency to your otherwise opaque and unfair process, and after consultation with [House Oversight Committee] Ranking Member Jim Jordan and [House Foreign Affairs Committee] Ranking Member Michael McCaul, the American people deserve to hear from the following witnesses in an open setting".

Nunes enclosed the respective list of witnesses for the House of Representatives' consideration. 

Apart from Biden, the Republicans also plan to summon Devon Archer, Burisma company's former member of the Board, Oleksandra Chalupa, the ex-worker of Ukraine's Embassy in Washington and the anonymous informer who claimed the appeal against Trump. The list also includes "ex-National Security Council official Tim Morrison, former Ukraine envoy Kurt Volker, and high-ranking State Department official David Hale", as Fox News reported.
