Former adviser of Donald Trump's presidential campaign Michael Caputo agreed to address the Special Committee on Intelligence of the House of Representatives on the case of Russian interference in the US elections. This was reported by CNN channel.
"We agreed voluntarily, without waiting for a summons to the court, to speak to the committee during closed hearings on Friday, July 14," the television channel quoted Dennis Vacco, lawyer of Caputo.

Michael Caputo served as Communications Advisor at Trump's campaign headquarters. As CNN notes, Caputo moved to Russia a few years after the collapse of the Soviet Union, he worked for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), which provides assistance abroad. According to the television channel, returning to the US, Caputo also worked as a consultant for the Russian holding company Gazprom-Media, a subsidiary of Gazprom, a large Russian energy conglomerate.
