Razumkov signs law on impeachment of President of Ukraine

Dmytro Razumkov, the head of the Ukrainian Parliament signed the decree about the special procedure of removing President of Ukraine from the office (impeachment). This is mentioned on the page of the respective draft bill, as it looks on the website of the Parliament.

Article 111 foresees that the President may be impeached in a specific order.

It takes at least 266 MPs to initiate the procedure. Their signatures under the respective appeal cannot be withdrawn once signed. A special investigation committee should be created to look into the procedure for 30 days.

The draft bill, supported by the entire faction of Servant of the People party is passed for President Zelensky's signature; he himself offered the respective draft law.
