The question about participation of NATO soldiers in Syrian conflict is not considered. This was reported by Jens Stoltenberg, the Secretary General of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), in an interview to Spiegel.
"Nobody expects participation of NATO soldiers in civil was in Syria, this is not being considered," Stoltenberg said.
NATO Secretary General noted that training of local military officers — both in Iraq and Afghanistan — is the best weapon for fighting against terrorism.
Stoltenberg also said that NATO will possibly enhance the work of Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircrafts in the sky over Turkey.
