Workers of Ukraine's State Emergency Service recovered 101 artillery shells in the area of Shuliavsky viaduct in Kyiv. The agency's press office reported that on Monday morning.

As of 10 a.m., the works are over. The pyrotechnicians took dozens of artillery shells, three mortar mines and a hand grenade. All pieces belong to the period of the Second World War.

14 workers and four vehicles were involved in the works.

Previously, a resident of the Dnipropetrovsk region discovered a stash with weapons, as he was collecting mushrooms near Doslidne village. The local police branch reported that on November 4. "The police found two Mukha (Russian for Fly, - 112 International) rocket-propelled launchers and 110 rounds of caliber 5.45 to AK assault rifle in the rollup", the message said. 

The firearms were seized and sent for expertise.
