Dmitry Peskov, the Press Secretary for the President of Russia, stated that Vladimir Putin it to meet with Kim Jong-Un soon, as RIA News reports.

“Yes, indeed, such meeting can be held, its modality and time will be further agreed by the diplomatic channels,” he added.

At the same time, Vladimir Dzhabarov, First Deputy Representative of Federation Council for International Affairs Committee, said that the leaders could meet at the Eastern Economic forum, which takes place in Vladivostok on September 11-13.

As it was reported, Kim Jong0UN had a meeting with Sergei Lavrov, Russia’s Foreign Minister, in Pyongyang on May 31.

On the same day, Mike Pompeo, the US Secretary of State, met with Kim Young Chol, the Vice-Chairman of the North Korea to discuss the preparation to the summit.

Earlier, Donald Trump, the US President, cancelled the summit on May 24 stating that the US military were ready to react on the “reckless act” of North Korea, but on the next day he said there was a chance the summit would take place.

Later, Trump confirmed the information that the difficult negotiations on summit organization were resumed.
