Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia ordered his administration to work out the list on the pardon of 16 people, including Ukrainians Oleh Sentsov and Oleksandr Kolchenko, which was passed by Ksenia Sobchak. Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson of the Russian president claimed this as Interfax reported.
'Really, Sobchak passed such list to the president. The president took it and ordered his administration to work it our', he said.
'I cannot tell you anything more', Peskov added.
Earlier it was reported that Sobchak passed the list of people whom she considered as the political prisoners to Putin and asked to pardon them.
There are 16 names on the list, including Dmitry Borisov, Stanislav Zimovets, Oleksandr Kolchenko, Vladimir Lapygin, Sergey Mokhnatkin, Oleh Navalny, Aleksandr Sokolov and Oleh Sentsov.
Earlier the advocate of Sentsov claimed that the Ukrainian movie director is ready to write a petition for a pardon if it is necessary for the exchange. According to him, Sentsov expects the exchange but thinks that it will not take place soon. ‘If he is exchanged then probably, a few persons will be exchanged for him’, the lawyer noted.
