Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with German Chancellor Angela Merkel during which they discussed the main issues on the agenda of G20. This was reported by the Kremlin press service.
Moscow assures that telephone conversation was initiated by German side.
“On the eve of G20 summit in Hamburg (on July 7-8) the leaders discussed the main questions of this forum’s agenda. The issue of Paris Agreement concerning climate changes and some questions of bilateral cooperation has been touched,” the message says.
As it was reported earlier Trump will meet Putin in Hamburg. The U.S. and Russian leaders will negotiate on the sidewalks of G20 summit.
