Leaders of France and Russia, Emmanuel Macron and Vladimir Putin discussed the current developments in Ukraine. The sides agreed that the implementation of Minsk agreement provisions is vital for solution of the ongoing Donbas conflict.
'We talked through the eastern Ukraine conflict, making emphasis on the rigorous implementation of Minsk agreement', RIA Novosti quoted Putin as saying, after the meeting, which took place in St. Petersburg on May 24.
Macron, in turn, said that Paris and Moscow should jointly work to provide collective security.
France may act in some situations where 'certain red lines are crossed', the French leader said.
