President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has invited U.S. President Donald Trump to Moscow. He claimed this at the press conference on the results of BRICS summit as TASS reported.
“We are ready to invite President Trump to Moscow, he has, by the way, such an invitation, I told him about that. I am ready to come to Washington if the proper conditions for the work will be created there,” Putin said.
He claimed about his desire to meet again as well as about Trump’s desire. At the same time, Russia’s president emphasized that it is important to create the conditions for this.
Putin reminded that he will be able to meet the American leader during the international events, including the G20 summit. According to him, despite the difficulties “in the domestic political life of the US”, the meetings of the presidents will continue.
The Russian president expressed the opinion that his meetings with Trump are useful not only for the US and Russia but also for the whole world. According to him, different issues needed to be discussed, some of the concern different states and Europe, particularly, the extension of the agreement on the restriction of the strategic offensive arms.
“The whole world is interested in this: if the talks are not begun today, New START agreement will stop to exist in 2021”, Putin noted.
He also expressed the opinion about the Syrian crisis.
“We need to satisfy the interests of all states in this region: Syria, Iran, Israel, Turkey and others – Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt and so on. We will talk about this at the high political level or we think that these issues are of the secondary nature?” he said.
According to Bolton, Trump thinks that his next meeting with Putin will take place when the ‘hunt on witches’ overs. During this time, they will be expecting the end of the investigation into the possible interference of the Russian Federation in the US Presidential elections in the USA in 2016.
Reportedly, American President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin met in Helsinki and have been talking one-on-one for more than one hour.
