Putin dreams of dismantling EU, - Macron

Russian president Putin's dream is to dismantle the basics of the European Union. French leader Emmanuel Macron said that in his interview with Sweden's SVT channel

'I respect Vladimir Putin, I am one of those who thin we should develop teh new architecture of security - along with Russia (...) But Vladimir Putin's dream is to dismantle the EU', he stated. 

The French leader also added that Russia is 'not a good example of a country where they care about human rights'. 

Earlier, during his meeting with Finnish counterpart Sauli Niinisto, Macron offered that the EU modernize relations with the Russian Federation. Besides, he supported setting strategic relations with Turkey and other neighbors of the EU, including the security matters.
