President of Russia Vladimir Putin discussed the status of Donbas and “failed policy of Poroshenko” with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron as Kremlin reported.

“The situation around the inner-Ukrainian crisis was discussed considering the failed policy of the administration of Petro O. Poroshenko and change of the state authority in Kyiv”, the message said.

Minsk Agreements 2015 as the basis for the peaceful settlement were recognized as irreplaceable.

The Russian President reminded about the priority of coming into force of the law on the special status of the separate regions of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, provision of the permanent nature to the law, provision of the amnesty, disengagement of the forces and means at the earlier agreed parts of the contact line.

Moreover, Putin stated the necessity to assume measures to establish direct dialogue of Kyiv with Donetsk and Luhansk.

As we reported President of Russia Vladimir Putin will not congratulate Volodymyr Zelensky on official inauguration as the President of Ukraine.

The inauguration of Volodymyr Zelensky to the post of president of Ukraine took place on May 20 at 10:00 Kyiv time.
