Donald Trump, the U.S. President, described his one-on-one meeting with the Russian President Putin as a “good start”, as Reuters reports.

“Trump made brief remarks in front of reporters, at a conference table surrounded by top officials at the start of a “working lunch” that began after he and Putin met behind closed doors for two hours with only their interpreters,” the news agency says.

As we reported earlier, thousands of people are protesting against the meeting of Trump and Putin in Helsinki, the capital of Finland.

The protesters against Trump’s policy showed up there as well.
