The President of the USA Donald Trump and the President of Russia Vladimir Putin shook the hands at the G20 summit. The speaker of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov reported this according to TASS.
The separate negotiation of Trump and Putin will take place at the exhibition centre of Hamburg and will last for 35 minutes
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov and the United States Sevretary of State Rex Tillerson will also take part in the meeting. It will be the extended meeting and not the one-on-one conversation.
Reuters noted that the main attention is drawn to the meeting of the Trump and Putin and to the results of it. Every gesture and glance of the presidents will be analyzed.
The main issues of their negotiations are the Syria crisis, ISIS and Russian-American relations. The last point will include the international problems such as Ukraine, Iran and North Korea.
Earlier, Trump claimed that he wants to find the way of cooperation with Putin but the actions of Russia towards Ukraine and Syria are the obstacles for this.
'I wait today's meeting with the world leaders, including my meeting with Vladimir Putin. I will represent my country good and fight for its interests', Trump reported at Twitter.
G20 summit takes place in Hamburg, Germany on July 7-8. The members of the summit will discuss the international issues and emphasize the situations in Ukraine and Syria.
