PS752 crash: Iran promises to publish technical report on accident in coming days

In the coming days, Iran will publish a technical report on the crash of a UIA passenger plane over Tehran and will hand it over to the Ukrainian side. This was stated by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran Saeed Khatibzadeh, Iran International reports.

"The technical report will be published on the anniversary of the tragedy and will be sent to the Ukrainian side and other persons involved," Khatibzadeh said.

He also commented on recent statements by Canadian Foreign Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne about doubts in Tehran’s official version.

"The State Department is working on making this situation as transparent as possible. I urge the Canadian Foreign Minister and the Government of Canada to be diplomatic and know their limits, otherwise, they will get a different response," the official noted.

As we reported earlier, on January 8, Boeing 737 of Ukraine's International Airlines, flight PS752 with 176 passengers aboard crashed in Tehran, not far from Imam Khomeini airport.
