Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine (GPU) opened the criminal case due to the possible violations of Director of State Investigation Bureau (SIB) Roman Truba during the dismissal of four head of SIB Department. The Prosecutor’s Office ordered the National Police to investigate this case as office’s spokesperson Andriy Lysenko reported on Facebook.
On May 31, the Prosecutor General’s Office got the statement about the violations committed by Truba sent by Maksym Boldin, the SIB’s Public Control Council’s Head and Nadia Korenna, the Secretary of Council.
The statement provides the information that Truba committed the number of criminal offences. Particularly: he intentionally did not fulfill the decision of the court, which bans him from the sole particular authorities and did not agree it with his deputy and first deputy; he committed the dereliction of duty; abuse of power or authority; revealed the data of the pretrial investigation.
On June 3, the GPU put the information on the non-observance of a judicial decision by SIB Director to the United register of the pretrial investigation.
The group of the prosecutors, who control the observance of the law during the pretrial investigation is formed out of the GPU prosecutors.
Earlier the SIB registered the statement of lawyer and ex-Head of the Presidential Administration Andriy Portnov on money laundering by fifth president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
Moreover, the SIB started the investigation on another appeal of Andry Portnov, as he accused Petro Poroshenko of state treason.
