Prosecutor General's Office examines documents on Poroshenko's suspicion

Prosecutor General's Office (GPU) is examining a draft of the report on suspicion of the fifth President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, sent to them by the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI), in the framework of a pre-trial investigation of criminal proceedings regarding possible inappropriate influence on the competition for selection of candidates for appointment of the High Council's of Justice members in March-May 2019.

Prosecutor General Ruslan Ryaboshapka informed about it on November 18, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

"Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine has these materials, they are being examined by the relevant structural units ... a procedural decision will be made in the near future," Ryaboshapka said.

However, he did not rule out that the documents might require editing

As we reported earlier, the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) filed the draft suspicion to the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine toward fifth president Petro Poroshenko and submissions to the Verkhovna Rada on the provision of the permission for his prosecution, according to Poroshenko's lawyer.

It is worth mentioning that the ex-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko did not come for the interrogation appointed by the Prosecutor General's Office again.
