Ukraine's Central Election Commission was provided with extra extended information, which confirms that Andriy Klyuyev lived in the Russian Federation during the last five years, as Special Investigation Department of Prosecutor General’s Office reported
“On July 3, 2019, the Special Investigation Department sent extra extended information on mentioned issues to the Central Election Commission as well as the copies of particular procedural documents, which confirm the fact of permanent residence of Klyuyev in 2014-2019 in the Russian Federation and absence of information on such residence in Ukraine. Besides, the readiness in expressed to provide any other information of pretrial investigation needed by the Central Election Commission,” the message said.
It is noted that from the very beginning the Prosecutor General’s sent “grounded information on criminal proceedings against Klyuyev tied with a commitment of economic crimes and the illegal interference of holding meetings, rallies, protests, and demonstration during the Revolution of Dignity.
On July 2, the Central Election Commission registered Andry Klyuyev as a candidate for MPs in Donetsk region. The commission explained by the decision of the Supreme Court.
Cassation Administrative Court as part of the Supreme Court stated it considered only the evidence provided by the Central Election Commission and it was not enough to state that Klyuyev have not stayed in Ukraine for the last five years.
