Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko presented a filing petition to the Verkhovna Rada on limiting immunity and prosecution of Oleksandr Vilkul, Dmytro Kolesnikov and Serhiy Dunayev, people’s deputies from the “Opposition block”, as the Prosecutor General wrote on Facebook.

“The Regulatory Committee of the Verkhovna Rada will consider these three filing petitions, then they should be put to vote in the parliament along with the fourth filing petition on Ponomarev, which has been already considered in the committee,” Larysa Sahan, Lutsenko’s press secretary, wrote on Facebook.

Earlier, on May 25, Yuriy Lutsenko, the Prosecutor General, sent a filing petition to the Verkhovna Rada on limiting immunity and permission to prosecute Oleksandr Vilkul and Dmytro Kolesnikov, Ukrainian people’s deputies.

As it was reported, in June, Rada’s Committee on regulation and organization of work found the filing petition of the Prosecutor’s General Office on lifting the immunity of Oleksandr Ponomarev (“People’s will” group), unmotivated.
