The number of illegally detained Ukrainians in Donbas has increased lately; Yuriy Tandyt, the Counselor to Head of Ukraine’s Security Service said that on air giving interview for 112 Ukraine TV channel.

‘Currently, 137 Ukrainian citizens are considered hostages. Unfortunately, this number has increased over the last several days. Russia-backed militants have been illegally detaining our fellow citizens, accusing them of crimes they never committed. They arrest unarmed civilians who did not even cross the firing line,’ Tandyt said.
