Andriy Parubiy, the Head of Ukraine’s parliament believes that the order of the President on the dismissal of the parliament doesn’t comply with the Constitution. Paruby announced that at the beginning of today’s extraordinary session of the parliament.

The extraordinary parliamentary session was convened by the Head of the Parliament yesterday at the request of the President Zelensky.

Today’s parliamentary agenda includes introducing amendments to the Law of Ukraine on Election of Members of Parliament and the Law on public purchases.

Yesterday, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed the decree on the dismissal of Verkhovna Rada and appointed the election on July 21.

The Cabinet of Ministers is ordered to provide the financing of the elections. The decree comes into force from the moment it is published.
