Former high-ranked officials made it to the Round 2 of the Social Party’s primaries in the French presidential campaign, RFI reported.
Ex-Education minister Benoit Hamon leads the way (35.21 percent of votes), with votes counted at more than half of polling stations across the country. Manuel Valls, former head of the government, got 31.56 percent.
Arnaud Montebourg, ex-minister of economy, gained 18 percent of votes.
