Presidential election underway in Finland

Today, on Jan. 28, 2018, the presidential election is underway in Finland, as the Finnish Ministry of Justice informed.

The polls will be open from 9:00 to 20:00. At the same time, 1.5 million people voted preliminary. 

The media say that the front-runner of this election is the current president Sauli Niinistö. The election is expected to be held in one round, but the second round would be held on Feb. 11, if necessary.
