President Zelensky urges MPs not to use Verkhovna Rada for personal promotion

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky urged the MPs not to use the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada for personal promotion within the next two months, as Zelensky wrote on Facebook.

“I urge the MPs not to use the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada for personal promotion within the next two months and not to turn the Parliament into the platform for the election campaign of the old parties,” Zelensky noted.

President stressed that the MPs should start voting for the reform bills.

“It is necessary just to vote for the reform bills, which were developed by the Ukrainian and Western experts. They remain unconsidered for years, though the citizens and the country are waiting for them,” the Head of the State wrote.

As it was reported, election process of the early elections to the Verkhovna Rada began  on May 24. Snap elections to be held on July 21, 2019.
