President Petro Poroshenko signed Decree # 467/2016 "On the decision of the National Security and Defense of Ukraine from September 16, 2016" On application of special personal economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions). "

According to the Decree are entering into force decisions of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine from September 16, 2016 "On the use of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions)," which support proposals for the extension and use of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) made by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (order of August 31, 2016 № 639-p), the security Service of Ukraine and the National bank of Ukraine.

Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine together with the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Bank of Ukraine and the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine were instructed to ensure the implementation and monitoring of the effectiveness of these personal special economic and other restrictive measures.

In turn, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine shall inform the competent authorities of the European Union, the United States and other countries on introducing sanctions and state the issue of the application of similar restrictive measures to the persons concerned.
