President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko urged Ukrainians living in the occupied Donbas not to vote in the fake elections on November 11. The president said this during his visit to Paris; there's a video published on his Facebook page.
'I appeal to those Ukrainians who are now forced to reside in the occupied territories - do not give your vote, do not participate in the fake elections,' Poroshenko said.
The president added that Russia was behind the so-called elections in the Donetsk and Luhansk occupied territories in order to choose the puppets they had already appointed.
Earlier the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin said that the sanctions could be imposed on the organizers of the 'elections'.
As it was reported, the militants scheduled the so-called elections in occupied Donbas on Sunday, November 11. The 'heads of the republics' and 'local MPs are to be elected. Ukraine and the international community have already condemned such 'elections'. The representatives of the Kremlin stated that they decide on recognition or non-recognition after the final results. The President of Ukraine expects new anti-Russian sanctions due to the 'voting'.
The Secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council Oleksandr Turchynov stated that all the organizers and the participants of the “elections” on November 11 would be found and prosecuted in compliance with the Ukrainian legislation.
