State leaders of Ukraine and China held a fruitful conversation, while heading their respective delegations at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Petro Poroshenko, Ukraine’s president said this during the press briefing on Tuesday, January 17.

‘We agreed that the inter-governmental commission would resume working – after a long break since the last meeting. The officials will define directions for further cooperation – such as attracting Chinese investments into Ukraine’s economy, creating hi-tech projects in many branches like agriculture, machinery building, power sector, logistics and infrastructure. Several projects were already discussed. These achievements truly confirm that Ukraine and China maintain and develop strategic partnership', Poroshenko said.
