Presidents of U.S. and Ukraine could meet in Davos, as both of them participate in the World Economic Forum. According to Bloomberg, Donald Trump and Petro Poroshenko may negotiate on a number of issues.
Previously, Ukraine’s foreign minister Pavlo Klimkin confirmed there’s a chance that Poroshenko and Trump could meet at the Forum. Poroshenko himself added that he plans to have a conversation with Trump.
‘We will talk through many issues of cooperation with the U.S. in terms of economy, safety – specifically, in terms of lethal weaponry supplies and support of Ukraine’s reforms. We will also discuss the opportunities to deploy the peacekeepers, which the UN Security Council should approve – in order to stop the murders of Ukrainians by Russians (in Donbas, - 112 International),’ Poroshenko said.
