The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will visit Turkey on an official visit on November 3. The media reported this, citing its own sources.
The head of the Ukrainian state will spend two days in Turkey, namely November 3 and 4, UNN news agency specified.
'The president’s visit to Turkey will take place next weekend. On the first day of the visit, official meetings are planned, including holding a strategic council meeting with Erdogan. Our consulate in Antalya will be opened the day after that,' the source said.
Heads of state are expected to discuss politics, economy, defense cooperation, free trade agreements, security and fight against terrorism, Anadolu agency said, referring to a source in Turkish diplomatic circles.
It is assumed that sides also will discuss the status of Crimean Tatars in Ukraine, Crimea and Turkey.
Erdogan was in Kyiv with an official visit in October 2017; previously, Poroshenko visited Turkey in March 2016.
