Ukrainian leader Petro Poroshenko will visit Paris on November 11, as the French capital hosts the solemn events timed to the centenary of the ending of the First World War. Jean-Batiste Lemoine, the state secretary of Foreign French Minister said this as quoted by Interfax-Ukraine.
'President Poroshenko will be staying in Paris with a visit on November 11, in response to the offer of his French colleague to join the celebration of the centenary of the ending of WWI,' Lemoine reported.
Poroshenko's administration in Kyiv confirmed the information, saying that Poroshenko received the invitation from his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron.
The events in Paris are slated for November 10 and 11.
The French capital also may host the meeting of Russian and American presidents; Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump could meet tet-a-tet after the solemn events devoted to 100th anniversary since the end of WWI, said Yuriy Ushakov, the assistant of the Russian leader.
