President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko intends to sign a Code on bankruptcy proceedings within a fortnight. He claimed this at the meeting with the representatives of the Ukrainian business.
‘Once again I want to thank the Parliament, which has recently adopted the Code of Ukraine on bankruptcy proceedings; the Presidential Administration hasn’t received the Code yet, but I want to emphasize that if everything remains the way it was declared, I am going to sign it within two weeks, and it will come into force. This is an essential step to resolve the issue of restoring the payer's solvency and ensuring the efficient, fast bankruptcy procedures', the President said.
Reportedly, the Ukrainian Parliament adopted the Code of Ukraine from bankruptcy proceedings. 237 MPs gave a positive vote, with 226 necessary to pass.
